The catholic church doesn't like it's "miracles" debunked. So much so that in this case they have even set the law on someone who has done just that.

I've signed it, grumpyRN. I am a practising Catholic and I do believe in miracles, but I also believe they have to be properly verified and that those who do not share our beliefs should be free to express that. This does not do us any credit.
